1. Email -
1. Email -
- This is the first thing you should do. Send your auction web address (http://www.mybidlist.com/your_auction_number) to as many people as you can and ask them to forward to as many people as they can. This is the most effective way of getting the news out for free.
- Post your auction web address to all web sites that you can find, free or paid. Remember to include your auction web address - http://www.mybidlist.com/your_auction_number You can find this address on top of your auction list page, or check your email when you first sign up to MyBidList.
- This is very popular in the U.S. and it is free. First, select the city on the right side of the page. Post a free message under 'for sale' category.
- If you are outside of the U.S., this new classified is getting popular.
- You will be surprised at how many buyers will come to your auction if you pay nearly nothing just to post one of your popular items on eBay and include your auction web address in the message. If you are outside of the U.S., ebay might be in your local country. Just go to http://www.google.com and search "eBay name_of_the_country".
- Again, same as ebay.
- This is the google's answer to classified, and it is free.
- The name says it all.
- Select a city and post your ad, it will get listed on many classified sites
There are so many others that you can find, just google search them.
- The traditional media still works, especially if you want to get all the locals. Print out flyers and post at local supermarkets, laundry mat or laundromat (if you want to spell it correctly), restaurants, bus stops, community or apartment bulletin boards. Also, local newspapers and magazines have classified ads session.
